It’s time for another monthly favorites! I have a lot of random things this month but I’ve definitely made good use of them. I’m super excited about some posts and adventures that I have coming up and I can’t wait to share them with you! Keep on reading if you want to know about my October Favorites.
Conair Sleep Machine. Sometimes I have a lot of trouble relaxing at the end of the day and being able to fall asleep. However, whenever I turn on this sleep machine, I’m asleep in about 10 minutes. I love the “Ocean Waves” sound and find it super relaxing. I have used this a lot this month after some long days or on days that I haven’t been feeling really great.
Vero Brava Headband. I got this headband through an Instagram promotion and it’s my favorite one that I’ve ever had. The material is thicker than a regular wide headband and you can wear it in a bunch of different ways. The top section unfolds into an even wider section to provide the exact amout of hair coverage that you need. I recommend that you check out their website or Instagram account if you’re interested in getting one.
Good Things Manuka Honey Radiance Mask. I’ve been working on treating some red acne scars recently and this mask has been helping a lot. Manuka Honey is apparently a popular ingredient in brightening products. This mask comes in the clay form and can be rinsed off after about 30 minutes of application.
Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss. I have this in the shade “Risk Taker” and it’s been the gloss that I’ve reached for the most this month. I love how this gloss leaves a tingly feeling and how it has the right amount of shimmer for me. I’m not a huge gloss person so this has been a good fit for me.
Daiso Sheet Masks. I have been using these a few times a week to help my skin stay hydrated. The chillier months are definitely coming soon and I can already feel my skin beginning to dry out. These can stay on for about 20-30 minutes and then the remaining serum can be rubbed in to the face.
Zicam Cold Remedy Nasal Swabs. LIFESAVER. I found out about these after I was day 5 into a nasty cold and had a trip coming up. I used these for 2 days and I was better than I had been all week. These do have a strong, menthol scent but they definitely open up the nasal passages to clear out congestion. These are great for traveling also since they are small, so I will probably take them on my trip just in case the cold comes back.
What are some of your October Favorites? And what are some of your tricks for getting over a cold? I’m always in the need of those tips.
See you in the next post, I’m off to the airport!
Love from, Amy.
