Spring is in the air and it makes me so happy! I can’t believe that April is almost over, meaning that May will be here soon, summer, etc. Here are just a few of the things that have also encouraged my love of April (ps also TJMaxx…..sorry not sorry.)
Stilla Bronzer. This usually sells for $28 in stores online and Ulta, but I found it for $7 at TJMaxx. I was almost out of my Elf $4 bronzer that has turned out to have too much of a red undertone for me, since I’m haven’t had any sun on my face in months, and look a little pale-ish. The Stilla bronzer in the Shade 02 has been great for me!
Stilla Custom Color Blush. Again, a great bargain find! This usually sells for $20 online and in stores but I got it for $6 at TJMaxx. The shade Self-Adjusting Coral is so bright and cheery, and highly pigmented so you don’t need a lot.
Pour-Over Coffee Mug. This has been on my favorites list every month this year, but I have forgotten to take it home from my work desk to take a picture of it. I bought this for $6 at Target back in January or February and have made it a morning ritual to brew myself a (large) cup of coffee as soon as I get in my office. This has become one of my favorite parts of the morning, to boil water in my electric water kettle, and let the aroma of coffee fill my office. I bought a few different blends of coffee from Trader Joe’s a few months ago and have kept them in my office to make whenever I need a cup of java. I have also saved SO much money by doing this, as I don’t usually have time to make coffee before I leave my house and had been visiting Starbucks a little too often.
Candles. Candles. Candles. One of my favorite things ever. I bought a few at TJMaxx over the last few months and had been saving certain scents until seasonally appropriate. I found this “Happiness” candle by DW Homes and the fresh, floral scent is perfect for spring. Another one I found is by Yankee Candle in the scent “Beach Party.” I went to the Yankee Candle Factory in Virginia about 4 years ago and became obsessed with this specific scent, but then learned it was being discontinued, so when I found it again I couldn’t wait to use it. This candle basically smells like the way you would after coming home from the beach, all sunscreen-y and sandy. I know that sounds weird, but it’s honestly one of the best summer scented candles.
Truly Madly Deeply Sunflower Triblend Tee. There is a specific place in my heart that is just for grey/gray triblend shirts. I have this shirt that is from a college that I didn’t even go to but the triblend and color of the shirt is my favorite, so I wear it ALL the time. Image my delight when I found another shirt basically just like it, with the addition of a bright sunflower on the front. This shirt is normally sold at Urban Outfitters, however, I found it at Daisy Exchange and only had to pay a few $ for it, instead of the retail value of close to $40 at Urban Outfitters.
