April 2017 Favorites

He-llllllo! I had to take a break from blogging last week for some work-related stuff, but I’m back just in time to talk about my favorite things in April. Keep on reading if you want to know what they are! This post is not sponsored but a genuine review of things I have been enjoying.

Trader Joe’s Roasted Seaweed Snacks. I know this sounds weird, and it probably tastes weird to other people, but I have really been enjoying these snacks. It’s basically like eating green paper but it tastes just like sushi. The Wasabi flavored ones are also amazing. And the best part is that each packet is under $1.

Warby Parker Louise Glasses. I bought these frames a few months ago and I have been wearing them more, now that I’m used to them. I love the champagne color of the frames and the fact that they’re translucent and go with everything. I also really like that they come in a sturdy, colorful, and hard-shell case. If you’re interested in purchasing a pair of Warby Parker glasses, visit their website to order a home try-on kit which allows you to wear 5 different frames for 5 days–for free! Stranded Loose Powder Dry Shampoo in Brunette. I have been using this product for a few months but have just been really enjoying it this month. This product was developed by two friends who were looking for a natural dry shampoo that was actually good for your hair, so they decided to make it themselves. I really love that it comes in Blonde, Brunette, and Red to meet the needs of everyone’s hair colors. I have been using the Brunette shade because my hair is no longer colored and my natural color is dark blonde. I highly recommend this product if you’re looking for a natural dry shampoo. Elf Poreless Face Primer. Warmer weather is coming but so is the humidity. I tend to have issues with my makeup staying on all day in the summer and so I will use a face primer during those months. I really like this primer because it minimizes the appearance of pores, it smells like tea tree oil, and it does keep my foundation on all day.

KUT from the Kloth Ripped Boyfriend Jeans. I don’t know why, but I am really into ripped jeans these days. There’s just something so homey and casual about them and you can dress them up or down. I bought this pair of jeans through StitchFix several months ago and they were such a good investment purchase. I typically don’t spend that much on jeans but I now have 2 pairs from this brand and they are the only ones I wear now.

The Night Shift. I have been watching a lot of Netflix lately while studying and I found Seasons 1-2 of this show. I’m hooked and I’m excited that it’s an ongoing show so I can watch more episodes this summer. This show is about an ER in Texas that is run by ex-military physicians. Although medical drama shows are rarely accurate of an actual hospital setting, I still like to watch them to learn more (and sometimes mock the unrealistic aspects).

What have you been loving this month?
