Welcome back to Love from Amy! If you are new to this blog–welcome and I hope you come back again. If you have been following my blog for a while–welcome back and thank you for your support! Summer seems to be flying by and August is just around the corner. This summer seems to have been a little milder for me than previous years (definitely not in the Oklahoma temperature aspect) because I have not been traveling as much. However, this weekend I will be able to take a few days off work and spend time with several of my family members (maybe even get in some pool time) and have a mini “staycation.”
There are a few summer beauty items that I’ve been using in the last couple of months and I thought I would share those today on the blog.
L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation. I have been loving this foundation this summer and I think it’s very similar to the ItCosmetics CC Cream. The coverage is medium but it has such a glowy finish. I haven’t been able to be in the sun much but this foundation helps me to look like I have.
L’Oreal True Match Lumi Glotion Natural Glow Enhancer. This is a great product to use as a base before foundation, or simply just by itself. If you apply this with a foundation, it just helps to amp up the finish of your foundation. But if you wear it alone, it just helps your skin to look a little more refreshed and hydrated.
L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Waterproof Mascara. I promise this post is not sponsored by L’Oreal but they have come out with some really amazing products lately. This mascara has held up so well in the heat and it gives such a natural looking amount of volume to your eye lashes.
Simple Water Boost Sleeping Cream. I like to use gel moisturizers in the summer, if possible, because they seem to have such a nice cooling effect. I’ve really enjoyed using this sleeping cream before I go to bed, and it leaves my skin feeling very hydrated the next morning.
Jergens Natural Glow Healthy Complexion Daily Facial Moisturizer. This self-tanning face moisturizer has been a favorite of mine for a few years and I think I’ve probably mentioned it on the blog before. I like that this product doesn’t break my skin out and doesn’t make my face look orange.
Jergens Natural Glow Wet Skin Moisturizer. This moisturizer has been so easy to use when it comes to self-tanning. All you do is apply it while you are still in the shower–but don’t rinse it off–and then gently dry with a towel. I used this incorrectly twice by drying off a little first and then applying it–but I was stripe-zilla both times. Just apply this while your skin is still wet and the result is a gradual, glowy tan.
E.L.F. Cosmetics Shimmer Highlighting Powder. This highlighter is so pretty and perfect for summer. The finish is more subtle than other highlighters I’ve tried but I think it still looks really natural on the skin.
your signature at the end is so cool – how did you do that?

Thank you! It’s hand written and then I used the app MagicEraser to edit/upload it 😊
