For The Grieving Heart

There has been a burden on my heart for the last several weeks for all of those who are currently dealing with grief, loss, and really tough circumstances. There is so much evil and sadness in this world right now and the world needs love. The world needs Christ. I debated posting anything about this topic, but after some events this week I believe that I would be wrong not to. Whether you are currently dealing with a loss, grief, bearing the burden of another, or just observing the trials of this world– be encouraged and comforted by the scriptures below that I KNOW and BELIEVE to be true.

Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

Psalm 73:26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Psalm 34:18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Revelation 21:4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.

Isaiah 43:1-2 Do not be afraid, I have redeemed you. I have called you by name. You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will bot be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

While there are many other words of truth that can be shared, these are all scriptures that have touched my heart during rough times. If there is any way that I can be lifting you up before the throne of the Father, let me know in the “Contact” section.

So much love from, Amy.
