One of my favorite things about Fall is the fashion. The layers, the sweaters, the boots, the scarves, the colors, just all of it. I tend to be pretty consistent with my Fall clothing and I thought I would share a lookbook of all the things I tend to wear, when I’m not wearing Nike shorts and a hoodie. All of these items are basic staples that can make several outfits from just a few simple items. Thanks Mom for being my photog!!
Weekend Wear
Look #1
Layers and comfortable jeans are a go-to choice for me on the weekends when I just want to relax and run around town. Plus, who’s excited about Gilmore Girls coming back to Netflix on November 25th???

Black Zip Hoodie– Target
KUT Boyfriend Jeans– Stitchfix
Converse Chuck Taylor All Star– Shoe Carnival
Look #2
A big, chunky sweater is an absolute must-have for the fall. You can wear it with shorts, leggings, and jeans. This is one of my favorite sweaters to just chuck on for whatever.
Philosophy Sweater– Sam’s Club
Marc by Marc Jacobs Crossbody– Plato’s Closet
Sunnies– Old Navy
Dressy
Look #3
A classic little black dress and nude shoes go a long way during pretty much almost any season. Throw on a statement necklace, jean jacket, and/or a clutch purse and you’re good to go for any dressier occasion.
Black Shift Dress– Gap Outlet
Statement Necklace– Target
Clutch Purse– Stitchfix
Nude Clog Heels– Groopdealz.com
Casual
Look #4
Neutral colors are my favorite colors in general, but when layered– there are so many outfit options and possibilities. Those bright-colored bags, totes, or jewelry can help make a neutral outfit into a statement outfit.
Black Scoop Neck Long Sleeve– TJMaxx
Oatmeal Sweater Vest– Gap Outlet
Skinny Jeans– Target
Tan Ankle Boots– Gap Outlet
Orange Detailed Tote– a gift to me, but from Neiman Marcus
Look #5
Black and white stripes are so classic! Throw on a dark cardi and some riding boots and you’re the picture of basic, Fall style… but I love it! A patterned or solid color scarf can also complete the look on days when it’s a little colder.
Black Cardigan– Old Navy
Striped T-shirt– Groopdealz.com
Dove Grey Scarf– Forever 21
Skinny Jeans– Target
Riding Boots– Old Navy
While these aren’t all of the items that I tend to wear in the Fall, they’re some classic pieces that go with so many things. Add in some textured tri-blend grey, a trench coat, a beanie, etc., and you’ll be in good shape for this upcoming season. Even though we’re a few weeks from the Fall weather staying, I hope this gives you some inspiration if you’re trying to plan your Fall style. What are some of your favorite things to wear in the Fall?
