Larabars
If you’ve been following my Whole30 posts, you’ll know that I’ve really been watching what I’m consuming but also having crazy sugar cravings! Larabars have been my go-to snacks to carry with me and there’s a few different flavors that are Whole30 approved.
Go Ring
I found out about Go Rings a few months ago and I’ve been wearing mine ever since. Go Rings is a jewelry line created by a young woman who was trying to raise support for a year-long mission trip. Her business took off and now the company helps to also support others who are going to do amazing things! Go check out the website here or visit their Instagram account @go_rings. I’m attaching a picture of what mine looks like, because I think I actually misplaced mine, so I’m currently looking for it–sad face and sense of sheer panic.
Anderson Lilley Winter In Manhattan Beach Body Cream
I received this hand lotion in the Winter FabFitFun box and I’ve been using it a lot lately on my dry, red, and chapped hands. I LOVE the scent–it’s so beachy, fresh, and just so calming. If you know me really well, you know I love anything that smells like the ocean.
How to Survive a Shipwreck: Help Is On the Way and Love Is Already Here
I started reading this book about a week ago and it’s been such a good read. This book is definitely a more heavy read and it touches on moments in life that just seem so overwhelming/uncertain and gives a glimmer of the hope that can be found and is in Christ. I can’t wait to finish reading this.
The Great British Bake Off
I have been watching episodes of this show a lot this month. If you know me really well, you’ll also know that I LOVE LOVE all things/people British. This show is hilarious, inspiring, innovative, and the people are just so nice to each other–even under stressful situations.
Hornblower
I’m really keeping with the ocean/ship theme this month! I’ve also been re-watching all of the Horatio Hornblower episodes. This A&E mini-series follows the sea career of Horatio Hornblower and all the adventures he encounters. I believe there are 8 mini-movies in the entire series.
D.L. & Co Bergamot Woods Candle
I took a break from my maple scented candle, that I had burning all of December, and switched to this candle that I received in the Winter FabFitFun box. I think I’ve actually burned it close to the bottom in just a few weeks. This scent is fresh but is also has a warm, comforting scent.
Foodie Thinking Blog
Last but definitely not least, I’m so happy to say that I’m LOVING this new blog, written by one of my dearest, dearest friends, Steph. She is a Chef by profession and has had some amazing experiences in the last several years! She has also lived in some very busy, exciting cities and I couldn’t be more proud of her. Steph had a blog a few years ago but I think that her blog re-launch is so perfect and all about the things from her heart. Please go check out her blog here, subscribe, and show her some love!
