Birchbox

I have talked about Birchbox in several blog posts before but I wanted to write one specifically about this subscription service. I hope you liked the BlessBox post from last week, also. Birchbox is the other subscription service that I use and it’s been really great for a few different reasons. Number one, you get to try higher end products that you might not normally buy. Number two, the samples are so great for travel! I think it’s been 2 or 3 years since I have had to buy travel size products when traveling. Number 3, you get 5, or sometimes 6, different samples to try out! And number 4, all of the boxes are really cute and they make really nice gift boxes for someone else. This is not a sponsored blog post but if you are interested in subscribing, it is $10/month or you can pay upfront for the whole year and it is slightly discounted. I’ll link the Birchbox link below but here are the samples that I received in my June Birchbox.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Makeup in the Shade Desert Beige. This is an oil-free foundation that provides a medium to full coverage. I’m not sure if this shade is the right one for me but I’m excited to try it out.

Klorane Chamomile Shampoo and Conditioner. I can’t wait to take these on a trip! Chamomile is so soothing and relaxing after traveling. These products help to get rid of residue build up and restores shine and hydration.

Balance Me Instant Lift Primer. I tried this out the other day and it wasn’t for me, but it was worth a try. This makeup primer smoothes the skin’s surface, minimizes the appearance of pores, and helps to provide a flawless makeup application.

The Beauty Crop Blush Duo in the shade Papaya Don’t Preach. This duo comes with both a cream blush and a powder blush. Both blushes include tropical ingredients like papaya and pomegranate. I swatched them below–the cream blush on the left and the powder blush on the right.
