Happy Tuesday, friends! Today I’m talking all about skincare and about the products I have been using this winter. I know that I have probably mentioned these items separately in “Favorites” or “Empties” posts, but I thought I would share with you the routine I’ve had for the last few months. While there is always room for improvement, I feel like I have come a long way with figuring out how to manage/heal my problematic skin. If you are interested in reading about my journey with acne, let me know and I’ll write a blog post about that. Let’s get into the products I’ve been using!
Morning
I don’t wash my face in the morning because I’ve found that it dries my skin out too much to wash it twice a day. In the mornings, I’ll rinse my face with cool water and pat dry. I’ll then use a Vitamin C serum and press into my skin instead of massaging it in. Next, I’ll apply my moisturizer and the one I have been using for the last few months is H20 Plus Face Oasis Ultra Hydrator. After I put on my makeup for the day, I’ll spritz the H20 Plus Face Oasis Face Mist to add some extra hydration and to help set my makeup.
Evening
In the evening, I’ll wash my face with PCA Skin Facial Wash and then use the PCA Skin Smoothing Toner with a cotton round. Since the toner can be a little drying for my skin, I like to apply a Hyaluronic Acid Serum and press it into my skin. Hyaluronic Acid allows for other moisturizes to hydrate even deeper, so it’s great to prevent other products from being too harsh. After that serum, I’ll press in a Retinol serum, which helps with acne scars and discoloration.
Weekly
There are so many face masks you can use to help with different skin issues. The one I have been using the most lately is the Andalou 1000 Roses Rosewater Mask. This mask helps with cell turn over, intense hydration, and it smells amazing. The mask goes on like a face cream and can be rinsed off after about 10 minutes.
Arms/Legs
This lotion smells SO good! I’ve almost finished this bottle and it’s by far my favorite lotion. I will definitely re-purchase this when I run out. This lotion isn’t too thick but it’s really hydrating. Plus, who doesn’t love a little firming??
I have purchased most of these products on Amazon Prime, which has helped to save a little bit of money. What’s your winter skincare routine? I’ll be back on Friday with another blog post related to travel!
I’ve never heard of a hyaluronic acid serum! I’ve been using the Neutrogena water gel for extra dry skin, but somehow it’s still not enough. I will have to try that out!

It really helps me a lot! I usually get mine off of Amazon and it’s not too expensive.
